Tianfei Palace takes shape

www.chinanews.cn 2005-03-09 15:15:49

Nanjing's Tianfei Palace, which has been under reconstruction for more
than seven months, has begun to take shape. Now the inside fitting and
road paving outside is in process. The project will return the Ming
Dynasty (1368-1644) Palace to its original majesty. The palace will
attract both Chinese and foreigners seeking good fortune. July 11th is
the 600th anniversary of the great navigator Zhenghe's first expedition
to the Western seas. Projects to extend Jinghai Temple and rebuild
Tianfei Palace are part of Jiangsu Province and Nanjing City's
celebration of the anniversary.
