www.chinanews.cn 2005-02-24 15:25:42

Pumpkins and turnips elaborately carved by chefs from the Yangzhou Zijing
Restaurant at the Jiangsu oilfield, were on display recently. The
carvings presented views of Yangzhou's Runyang, and Five-Pavilion
Bridges, landmarks of the Slender West Lake. The display seeks to
celebrate the upcoming completion of the Runyang Bridge, and express the
joy of Yangzhou's citizens for having realized a long-standing dream.
