Largest juice group to be established

(Mar.29, 2005) Beijing Huiyuan Juice and Beverage Group Corp., China's
biggest fruit juice producer, and Tong Yi Industrial Corporation,
Taiwan's biggest food enterprise, signed a joint venture agreement. Tong
Yi acquired a 5% share of China Hui Yuan Juice Holdings Co., Ltd., Cayman
Islands through Tong Yi Cayman Investments at a price of 30.3 million
USD. Huiyuan Group holds a 95% share by way of capital contribution. Tong
Yi is the biggest supplier to the domestic normal temperature fruit juice
market, while Huiyuan is the third biggest normal temperature and second
biggest refrigerated juice supplier. A fruit juice giant will emerge from
the progressive cooperation of both parties.
