CSA signs A380s deal

Jan. 29 - China Southern Airlines Company has signed an agreement with
Airbus for the purchase of five A380s.
The purchase marks the first commitment placed by a Chinese carrier for
the recently unveiled largest aircraft in the world.
Airliner chairman Liu Shaoyong said the A380 will further increase his
company's competitiveness in the global market.
Airbus President and CEO Noel Forgeard said the purchase marked a
significant breakthrough of Airbus' business in China.
