KUALA LUMPUR - China coach Zhu Guanghu said on Sunday that his team needs
to improve its defense ability against freekicks.
"The two equalizers from Iran are both from freekicks. We need to improve
our ability on the defense against freekicks before the next match," Zhu
said after China were held 2-2 draw with Iran in a hard- fought match at
Asian Cup.
"We play very well in the first half and scored twice, which greatly
limited the performance of Iran. It is a pity the match ended in a draw,"
he said.
The players should do better in the second half, and China must solve
some problems before the next match against Uzbekistan.
